Participation in one senior service project/committee is an annual membership requirement. The requirement may be fulfilled through participation in any of the following "Center" activities and/or Meals-On-Wheels. Specific opportunities to volunteer are described at General Meetings with sign-up sheets and in the Newsletter.

WESTON SENIOR CENTER
After 12 years of maintaining and operating the Senior Center, the WWL voted to turn the operation of the Center over to the Town on May 26, 1994. The Center is located at the Norfield Church Parish Hall.

SENIOR LUNCHEONS
When there is a 5th Wednesday in the month, WWL cooks and serves the lunch at the Senior Center.  To volunteer to serve or donate a prepared dish, contact Kit Woolverton.

SENIOR LUNCH: April 30th

We are hosting our last senior luncheon of the year on Wednesday, April 30th. It's going to be a Mexican Fiesta of creamy chicken enchiladas, corn and black bean salad in a lettuce cup, and mexican banana pudding.    I could really use some more volunteers to prepare dishes, especially dessert.

1 chicken enchiladas

1 corn & black bean salad (entails opening cans; the hardest part is chopping a red pepper; can be prepared the night before)

4 desserts (it's really easy; no cooking required and it can be made the night before; hardest part is slicing bananas)

If you can help out, please send an email to Kit Woolverton at kitwool@yahoo.com.
